Hi again.

Just a little update to this and the thread below, and in case anyone else
from the same net (UiT/HiTOS) comes by here: It seems that the
administrators are actually enforcing a cisco-only policy regarding the
vpn clients and have actively disabled all the compatibility features they
could find.

I guess it's a compliment to vpnc that I have been able to use it for a
year without realising this and that it only broke with the last
changes in the concentrator.

I have some doubts about the cisco linux client working on an amd64, so I
guess it's icmp tunneling magic from here on. Maurice, if you get around
to supporting this firewall policy check in vpnc, you'll be my hero. :)
