[vpnc-devel] vpnc 23 hr connection limit?

I have recently started using Ubuntu and vpnc.  I discovered that with 
the version of vpnc that is sent out with Ubuntu I could only stay 
connected for about 4 hours.  I then downloaded vpnc 3.3+SVN20051028-3 
from the debian unstable tree and now I can stay connected for about 23 
hours.  No more that that.  When I use to use Cisco 3000 VPN I was able 
to stay connect for weeks.

Can anyone tell me that steps I need to take to increase the connection 
time?  Soucre to download?  Patches to add and how?  Tips, tricks?
