[vpnc-devel] file transfer failures

Hello, I have been using vpnc for work. They use a Cisco VPN system,
though I am uncertain which. I am running a 2.6.9 Linux kernel with vpnc
0.3.3.
I can connect to the VPN using vpnc without trouble. I can generally
view web sites, download mail, and ssh to machines on the remote
network. However, I can not send mail, upload files from my machine
(ssh, scp, ftp), or view certain web pages on the remote network's machines.
My machine's services like ftp and scp work when I am not on the VPN.
What baffles me is that I can ssh from a remote machine back to my
machine without problems. The shell is quite happy. But something like
"ssh user at x.x.x.x "cat file" > local.file" will not transfer the file!
From my machine, a CVS check out succeeds, but a commit fails.
Is there something about sending large amounts of data that causes a
failure?
Any ideas?
Thanks
