[vpnc-devel] Cygwin woes....

I was having a similar problem with it giving me a 169 address on WinXP.  I
went in and configured my network connection to not automatically obtain an
IP address (i set it to be 1.1.1.1 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0).  I then
connected with vpnc and then used the netsh interface ip command to set my
ip address to the one the script echo'd.  Everything worked after that.  I'm
not sure why the vpnc-script-win didnt work, since it appears to be doing
the same thing.
