[vpnc-devel] Authentication failed

All,
I have installed VPNC 0.5.3 in Fedora Core. I am using kernel version
2.6.15.4.
I have created the .conf file using pcf2conf utility available as part of
VPN 0.5.3. I have verified the generated files and the .conf file is created
properly (group name, group password, user name and user password are
proper)
But when the application is launched (./vpnc --enable-1des --debug 3
maniyan) I am getting the following error message:

IPSec ID <Name of the group here>
IPSec gateway gateway.<domain>.co.in
IPSec secret <decoded group password>
IKE Authmode psk
## To add your username and password,
## use the following lines:
Xauth username <username here>
Xauth password <my password>
Please help me in resolving this issue.
